We are currently looking for qualified native level English teachers in our Kyiv and Odessa schools to start late August, and in September for our new Lviv school.
London School of English is a British owned group of language schools, operating in Ukraine since 1996. We have several schools in Kyiv and Odessa, and are about to open our first school in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv.
Together with our sister company Dinternal Education, Pearson’s exclusive distributor in Ukraine, we can lay claim to being the country’s largest provider of English Language education. We are currently involved in designing and implementing Ukrainian state teacher training refresher courses.
At the schools we teach a wide variety of ages and levels. Teaching contracts are for 24 hours, Monday to Friday. Special support and instruction is given to staff new to teaching younger children and examination courses.
The school offers a unique environment for both newly qualified staff and those with more experience who wish to expand their horizons.
Our Diploma qualified management team conduct our in-house professional development programme which includes practical input sessions on topics such as lesson planning, pronunciation and teaching speaking skills, as well as workshops and regular observations with feedback from your mentor. It is designed to help teachers move towards a Diploma level qualification while developing their teaching skills.
There are significant opportunities for more experienced teachers to develop, including Delta and MA sponsorship and positions in management (both executive and academic). Scope of work includes recruitment, trade fairs, marketing and finance, text book design, publishing, ELT seminars and workshops and Webinars.
As our schools are both Cambridge and Pearson Exam Centres, there are opportunities to train to become examiners. We also offer the Cambridge CELTA every summer at our Odessa centre and run preparation courses for the Cambridge TKT modules year-round throughout the country.
The majority of our school’s management and teacher training team have been promoted from within, underlining our commitment to both teacher and career development. We encourage Delta qualified staff with sufficient experience to move towards qualifying as a CELTA Tutor.
